Ingredients

• 2 cans Cinnamon Rolls I used cream cheese 5 count cans
• 1 jar Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting 12 ounces
• 1 Cinnamon Swirl Krustee*z Cake Mix 21 ounce
• 1/2 cup walnut
• 1 1/2 sticks butter sliced thin

Instructions

• Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then grease your 9×13 pan with cooking spray.

• Dice up and place your cinnamon rolls in your baking dish. You can leave some rolls whole and dice up the rest to fill up the pan.

• Warm up the frosting for 5-15 seconds in the microwave, remove the foil cover. Then stir and spread all over the cinnamon rolls.

• Sprinkle on walnuts if you would like. Or skip if you don’t want nuts.

• Dump the flour part of the cake mix on top of the cinnamon roll mixture.

• Then slice the butter thin, and place all over the cake. Then sprinkle with the cinnamon mixture portion of the cake mix.

• Bake for 40-45 minutes or until done.

• Once done you can take the frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls to drizzle over the top of the dump cake.

Notes

Cinnamon Rolls – Any brand works for this recipe. I used cream cheese rolls. A pumpkin roll would be delicious as well.

Cake Mix – So I used the Krustee*z Cinnamon Swirl, if you can’t find you could use a spice cake to replace.

Nuts – Skip nuts or sprinkle them on. You could also swap the walnuts with crushed pecans as well.

Butter – Salted or unsalted work. The key is to just slice and top the whole cake. So as the butter melts it can add moisture to the dry cake and bake properly.

Canned Filling – Consider adding a layer of apple pie filling or even cherry on top of the cinnamon rolls before you do the frosting for added flavor.
